HAVING ANDROID BATTERY ISSUES ?? Here's how to calibrate the battery on your android...

Battery problems is a menace that is actually widespread to most smartphone users and  thus this brands it a synonymous problem among android users!
Its an inevitable misgiving but as they say every cloud has a silver lining... the way out of this mishap can be circumnavigated and tamed! Yes! you can rectify the statistics of your battery by simply calibrating the battery  statistics.

 HERE'S A SIMPLE  WAY YOU CAN CALIBRATE YOUR BATTERY...

For those without root access;

 Install the application called "Current Widget:  Battery Monitor

• This application serves the purpose of showing the the battery  charge in (milliamps) mAh .
• In that case you should consider first checking your battery capacity b maybe checking the battery on  your phone or checking up the capacity of your of your phone online depending on your manufacturer.
• Subsequently you can consider charging the phone to the  optimum time until the total amount of of milliampere  indicated on your battery is reached
• When the required amount of battery is reached , restart your phone and the battery should now be charged to  100% so technically you shouldn't encounter any problems.

With root access the process is even more promising;

 

 

 

 

First method :

If you are lucky to have rooted your phone then you are simply a developer to be and here is where the fruits of your hard earned superuser rights come in .
If you need to root your phone then read CLICK HERE IF ROOTING YOUR NEED ROOT ACCESS   .

If you already have root access then download the application "Battery Calibration"

•  First connect your device to charge until the battery reaches 100%
• Then check the "mV" or the "mAh" statistics and if it continues to rise then continue charging your phone till it gets to to a point the level is not rising anymore
• At this level you should press the calibration button and this will change the battery statistics on your android  root files! When this is done the you can be sure you have indeed calibrated your battery!

Second method:

This method requires one to   boot the phone into recovery mode; this is essentially interacting with the phone on the kernel level and usually booting the phone into recovery requires one to know the specific buttons to press usually different with different manufactures .
Most manufactures have allowed users to boot into recovery by pressing the 'power button' and the the 'volume up button' concurrently when the phone is off!
On pressing this two buttons the phone will bring up such an interface

 








Navigate to the advance where you will find the option "wipe battery stats " option .
Select it to wipe the  battery statistics .

You can then drain your battery and then charge it while it is off and without interruption to 100%
Turn on your phone while its still plugged and go to your battery calibration application and grant it superuser permissions then click the calibrate button on the application .
If toast message "calibration succeeded" is shown then your battery has been successfully calibrated

STALKING IS THE NEW HOBBY AND WHATSAPP HAS EMBRACED IT WHOLEHEARTEDLY!

Whatsapp is at it again ... its making  your experience even more full of fervour and adventure  as you peruse your chats in a bid to dig if indeed a friend, a loved one or even a stranger who you met just yesterday and happened to give you their number is blatantly ignoring you!

If you send a message the only thing that will make that a conversation is a reply.. if she or he doesn't reply, my guy , its time you came to terms with the fact that you have been thrown under the bus and that you are not interesting enough to behoove a reply! hush huh? come on... life continues find another contact and be good enough this time to elicit a reply!

Lets face it  are the times we have been victims of this act of prejudice and many of us have found it quite insolent.  Subconsciously and sometimes deliberately the  vicious circle now becomes viral and this is where a tooth for a tooth comes in. "If you ignored me i will also ignore you" thats the jaundice that will come into play and this will definitely come to an abrupt ending when both swear not to talk to each other ..!

The latest version of whatsapp will out-rightly trigger a time-bomb  on the chats you have and thus letting you know who is ignoring you inexcusably and in broad daylight!
This will be shown with two BLUE TICKS which will actually rubberstamp  the fact the message   has been read. This should detonate the irking moment and create  room for a complaint incase  your message is unreplied and the receiver is online! As devastating as it may be, this is simply the message.."I have ignored your message Openly and i have no reservations !"

In as much as this may sound interesting its annoying in equal measure and is a feature that  has already been unveiled!  These blue ticks are available in the latest version of whatsapp so if  you haven't seen this feature you are downgraded and pretty much need an upgrade to the latest version of whatsapp.     
Just when you thought   the "last seen" wasn't a validated exhibit that you have been ignored ...the devil himself came around to dance on your grave ...the "BLUE TICKS" confirm it! yes! As if thats not enough you will be left damaged by the affirmation that you used your bundles for no apparent reason!

Well love it or hate it blue ticks are definitely a recipe to suicidal revelations which would even turn out to be scandalous! Its a cruel world huh?!

Subsequently calls will only  override the fever and fervor that comes with whatsapp mostly in times of urgency! 911 situations  and mostly wen you need some redeem in terms of money pronto.

Lollipops are synonymous with toddlers and even so many of the damsels  you associate with! lollipop is the sweet, the song, mouth watering piece of snack and now its ANDROID !

Speculations have been flying in the air about the  nomenclature to be used in the binomial of the next Android version. There were a galore of guesses including LIME  LEMON MERINGUE PIE AND EVEN LEMON DROP! .Its quite crushing that whoever was the author of these guesses was served to a rude shock that none of their guess was right! Well dont throw your brain away it might yield more precise hypothesis and for sure we will celebrate you!

The blatant truth is that the new android update is named  Android lollipop which has the version 5.0
You probably wonder why you are even being told about a name that actually  lingers in your braincells since you were in kindergarten ..lollipop ! well you it only comes down to one thing ..New features that will be mind blogging will be interfaced and integrated to your  Smartphone ,but i pray the smartphone better not be smarter than you , something you should also fathom !

 

Features of Android 5.0 L

•  A whole new level of notification system that will allow for multitasking and make  your user experience quite at your convenience.  Notifications will be displayed on your lockscreen and given priority depending on the frequency you use them you will also be able to respond to the notifications without leaving the app you were using or the leaving the interface you were on consequently allowing you to get back to what you were  doing! yeah having your cake and eating it ! multitasking!
•  Another feature that works with the android smart watch is that feature that allows you to keep your phone unlocked or better still if you don't have a smart watch   you can automatically set your watch to automatically unlock when you are home or when it hears your voice !
• Material design which is  a flat design that makes use of extensive shadows and 3D views to make on-screen elements distinct from each other!  New animations including  touch feedback and transition animations  between apps

RETAIN YOUR WARRANTY EVEN AFTER ROOTING YOUR PHONE

If.. by the grace of my indefatigable effort to inform you on how to root your phone...you have read about  an article i have written on  How to root your phone, then you probably have been met with the disclaimers and red flags that are usually therein, a deliberate effort to make you aware of the road you are about to take regardless of its obvious and usually severe implications. As trivial as these effects may seem they might cost one, the camouflage that comes with a fancy name "warranty". This very word instills in one, the required trust to purchase (a handset in this case..and it better be android) simply because any discrepancies will be accounted for by the supplier ( this  applies to software and workability not physical damage) .So don't go running to your vendor with the warranty if the devil tricks you that your broken screen will be replaced with another unblemished one! You will be served to the blatant truth and you'll even doubt the fact that you are the sperm that won!
But hey ..who doesn't like adventure or the chance to actually prove that the ceremonious warranty has come to actualization so you need a run for your money! literally speaking
   

We have learnt that rooting voids the warranty that comes with purchase of your phone and thus making you a worried man once the phone starts experiencing some lag! indeed you'll call yourself a developer after rooting your phone but you will be on your own when matters warranty are of the essence.For me rooting is inevitable and i wouldn't trade it for the rather unanticipated utilization of my warranty!

This is the same reason there  is way to root your device without voiding your  warranty!sound like robbing a bank without getting caught huh? or rather tasting the forbidden fruit out of wedlock and remaining a virgin!

ROOT YOUR ANDROID AND KEEP YOUR WARRANTY WITH YOU

 Software Required

• Vroot  Which is a PC software

• Device drivers. These drivers need to be installed in your pc  

  Process:

NB; IF you are using  Samsung phone with knox enabled , Go to settings and disable the Lock reactivation
1. install the Vroot
2.enable your usb debugging .if you cant find this option on your device click on the link How to enable developer option on your android
3.connect your device to your PC
4.Vroot will scan your device on their database and if found  the root button will appear
5. click the root button and in a few seconds your device will be rooted and will restart

install a ROOT CHECKER APP  from Google play store and check if your device is indeed rooted!
Thats how you get root access!

ENABLING SuperSU

Using  Vroot by default there's a program that takes care of superuser privileges but one  would prefer to change that and use the rather hyped superSU
FOLLOW THE STEPS Below.
1. Install SuperSu from the play store
2 . on launching the the app accept the permissions and grant root access. The superSU will request for a binary download confirm and download
3. install  Titanium Backup from the Play store  or SD maid and freeze the superuser that was installed by vroot
4. reopen the SuperSU  and reinstall the SU binary

Having that done procedurally as stipulated in this article then you are good to go.You will have have rooted your device without modifying the kernel which gives you the leeway to claim your warranty and its purpose upheld!



That done you will be as good as a hacker who has completed their first step to "hackerMode" on android!

Why buy a modem if u you have your have your android!

Technology is here to stay and the faster you catch up with it and embrace it the more easier life will be for you! Technology is quite a flexible field whose dynamic nature always gives technologists a run for their money while at the same time keeping all and sundry at bay ready to discover the complexities that are therein. this is the point i get to say that third parties like me come in  handy to demystify the rather convoluted  structure of technology!
Its a "smart" generation ...ranging from smartphones to smart TVs ...screens are becoming the artificial oxygen...a thing you cant do without! its either your phone, your TV, or your laptop!(you can add your windscreen too if you felt left out)owning all these gadgets will make you have some sense of belonging and this is the point you will feel like your technological quest has been met. Well...the struggle might as well be far from over since you will have to buy other supporting  devices that would otherwise  be branded accessories .
In this case we will focus on two gadgets ..an ANDROID  phone  and a MODEM.
a MODEM is exclusively designed to provide  internet connection to your  PC and that's that!(maybe you can use the recent modems as micro SD readers too). Your android device on the other hand is a a user device with a buffet of applications that might be overwhelming considering the vast grounds in terms of uses it traverses.!(please tell me my phone can do my laundry!)

USING YOUR PHONE AS A MODEM!

First you should consider navigating  your settings and enabling the usb debugging mode. In some phones like Samsung galaxy s4 this option is usually not shown unless  a developer already got geeky with your phone. Do not despair if this option does not show just click onto this link>>>>How to enable developer option on your android phone to help you add the developer option tagged usb debugging.

Hoping you have successfully turned on the usb debugging you can now go to you settings...click on  more then Click onto TETHERING AND PORTABLE HOTSPOT .

  You can now check the USB tethering if unchecked and bingo! your computer can now share your phones internet! check on your computers status bar for the network status and if you see something like in the image below then start enjoying your surfing.

Now that was fast and easy ..don't start feeling like a hacker already.. you just substituted your modem with your phone or better still..you found it unnecessary to  buy a modem

 SHARING YOUR INTERNET  WIRELESSLY USING YOUR ANDROID PHONE'S  HOTSPOT

 This is the second option just in case you are one of those folks who find a wireless network the most amazing and scintillating invention of all time! No one doesn't know what WIFI is this days and the first thing one will check once they enter an area with all sorts of technological alerts is check if there is an open network . The lust is usually brought to an abrupt heartbreak once you find the WiFi network locked! well its not the end of the world you know  .... you can create your own WiFi network with your phone and have people on  your neck literally beseeching for your password.. makes you  feel like a CEO  of some internet providing company huh??!

This is how you create a WiFi network on your android phone....
First make sure your data connection is turned  ON just so you are able to share your mobile network wirelessly
Go to your settings and click on tethering and portable hotspots on your wireless and networks option. Turn on the WiFi  hotspot ... this should automatically be reflected on your notification bar with a message "tethering or hotspot active"...

This created network network allows for the modification of the SSID (service set identifier) and the password allowing you to have absolute control of your network in terms of confidentiality an authenticity! You can even monitor the number of connections from your device and cut of any unscrupulous connections.
Thats how you simply create a simple router that will get tongues wagging in pursuit for a password whilst you sit back and enjoy your private connection  like a boss!

And just so you know u wont even need to buy a modem after all thanks to Android!

FAST SMARTER SMARTPHONES>>> 64-bit processors coming to ANDROID!

If you are opulent enough to own a computer then you probably know what  64-bit and 32-bit processors are! If you don't then i would imagine that computer is as good as bouncing castle to your fingers...! Chatting ,watching movies  and  games would perhaps be your prioritized operation! well.. this is the point i get to shake my head simply because i am a programmer who cant afford such an ostentatious lifestyle with a computer. It is for this  same reason that i would be obliged to take the matter "processors" with the seriousness it deserves!

Probably many are in the dark regarding 64-bit and 32-bit processors but listen to this... i am already here at your disposal to give you an over-view of what that entails.  I dint say  ad give the bitty-gritty
that are encapsulated therein because lets face it Google is here and its even replacing some of our good brains because of its reliability serve you with every recipe you inquire from it ! I am saving you the trauma you  will have to undergo in doing your research by reading the rather unending manuscripts !


Apple were the first to integrate these processor into their phones that saw i-phone 5s
  become a powerful phone !
Qualcomm has announced the release of 64-bit snapdragon 810 and 808 chipsets so yes the upgrade is already a success and it will not be Apples affair to use 64-bit processors ..Android is not gonna give them a run for their money!

64-bit in a nutshell

CPUs ( central processing unit ) count with rows of numbers made up of zeros and ones 0s & 1s.
processors with a 64-bit paradigm is capable of handling numbers made up of 64 digits during one single clock pulse. This means it can handle 64-bits of data which is equivalent to 8 bytes twice as fast as a 32-bit (4 bytes) processor handling the same capacity of data.
Though a 64-bit processor can handle more data at once this is usually dependent on task involved or to be processed and the RAM (Random Access Memory).

Advantages of 64-bit  processors

These processors have a higher processing power which would only mean more data will be processed and outputted to you ! i mean its a multitasking world! save for the innuendo the only damsels can multitask!
So here's the real deal 64-bit will provide for the expansion  of the RAM which are limited to a maximum of 4 Gigabytes  for the 32-bit processors . 64-bit processors will pave way for future upgrades which will by all means be in demand. I mean its a dynamic world and what would be a better way to embrace the future than to have these processors framed into our motherboards ! 8GB RAM on a phone! please tell me my playstation will be in the junk because  i will have fifa installed in my phone! .Yes thats the other advantage that comes with the 64-bit processor! supa dupa graphics that will make your gaming experience have a touch of the big boys like X-box(i just gave them credit i thought they deserve)

 

Disadvantage

The disadvantage that comes with this processor is that they need an extreme makeover with its hardware and the software too which must be designed to run with the 64-bit architecture .32-bit programs running on the 64-bit platform will slow down the system since they will be loaded on the 64-bit libraries















Despite the rather thin and miniaturized shortcomings that come with the 64-bit processors its only fair to eat life with a spade by clinging onto the straws that bank the flowing developments !
 who wants to be fossilized! well the answer might be Australopithecus if you did history!

NOKIA X! The dramatic DIVORCE between MICROSOFT and ANDROID!

Weddings are graced with pomp and color to an extent one cannot anticipate a divorce! Now if you are a showbiz guy the last time u were served to a revelation of a short marriage contract was that between Kim Kardashian and some basketball player tagged Kris humphries ...such is the new bitter truth that has been revealed to android lovers with the headlines being "Microsoft dumps Android "
Well sounds like an experiment to me because this is too short a nuptial between  Microsoft and Android which even procreated offsprings like Nokia x and Nokia x2. The product of this short term romance ends at the two devices NOKIA X and NOKIAX2!and this is the point windows operating system gets to have the last laugh...!
Iam not a windows OS lover but this is such knockout to android fanatics who had just been introduced to the superior (my opinion ) android platform through the popular low-range and affordable gadgets like the Nokia x. Nokia x allowed for interaction of the user with the different applications that run on the Microsoft windows platform and those that run on android platform .
This was thanks to the Android open source project platform that powered the development of the NOKIA X Platform which was considered quite a success to the NOKIA world given its earlier dosage of less captivating operating system and limited application market! Nokia x's limitation though,  was the blatant omission of the google services from its platform! Year right thats why it doesn't come with a stocked google play store or even g-mail app!

Nokia would have loved to continue manufacturing phones with nokia x platform but hey! Microsoft is the new majority shareholder so  they get to call the shots..and thus their unapologetic disposal of android!
Well best believe that you are not gonna be holding a sophisticated nokia x device with advanced features surpassing the current nokia x  and nokia x2 whose honeymoon has come to an abrupt end!...  thanks to Microsoft! NOKIA  device  will continue to run on windows phone branded Lumia .
if you are an owner of these two devices that are already on their death bed then dont despair ...your phone will still be fully functional but branded an endangered speciees which in all fairness is on its voyage to extinction !
Just don't mistake your nokia x with a bar of soap however much it resembles one...you might not be able to purchase another one after it drowns in your bathtub!

 R.I.P Nokia X... You were like a brother to me... That's why i friendzoned you..because I'm that Android junky

If you are  reading this then its only fair to call you a developer like me whose got this big heart for their android device.! well  you can hit your chest for that because i just tagged you with very high regards.

Onto today's subject matter .....

For those who have had the pleasure to root their devices then its probably not rocket science knowing the benefits that come with rooting your android device! sounds immense huh? well  i will guarantee i have had my own fair share of the intrigues that come with rooting your droid !

Nevertheless i will cater for those that are oblivious of the process of rooting or better still give a benefit of doubt to the skeptical ones and those that may think this is a recipe to creating unanticipated menace to your Android ...

  This app has proved quite beneficial to my droid now now that i dont require too much junk files on my phone whose place  would rather be in a trashcan !
  if you share the same sentiments with me then you probably would want to install this app asap
  Features include;

  * The System Cleaner scans your device and filters directories which contain unnecessary files. You an even create your own filters!
  * You can optimize and shrink bloated databases to speed up access and free space.

  * Explorer is a full fledged file manager, use it to crawl through your Androids files..
  * The CorpseFinder searches your device for orphaned items and compares those to the list of installed applications.
  In a nutshell this app acts as a wholesome system controller that has the full control to modify your root files ..act as a task killer, a cache cleaner a file manager a database optimizer and ofcourse you can monitor what is using up your phone space just incase  you get those annoying prompts about your phone storage getting low 

 Battery calibration

 Victim or not, battery juice has always been a menace to every droid with many complaining of their smartphones draining too much battery .
Thus app will simply configure your battery statistics by accessing the root files and changing the battery statistic.
The calibration works after  a full charge when after which its preferred one lets the phone drain its charge completely then the phone is charged to 100% and the recalibration done again to change the battery statistics

This application comes with massive and rather plausible functionality to thise with root access and one can almost enjoy the various permissions that were otherwise locked to a non-rooted droid
Of the many merits that are accredited to the application the most crucial and those you might find amazingly awesome are ;
>>moving apps that are usually only  restricted to storage on phone and cannot be moved to SD
>> delete custom application which are also referred to stock application that cannot be uninstalled(uninstalling the system applications)
>>freeze and unfreeze apps

 thanks to this app u can remove uneccesary apps that you would find rather boring or unnecessary remaining installed in your  droid

 

 

 

S2E

This app serves most of the purpose that Link2SD does and in the case of storage if your phone sd card is partitioned to have an extension 2  partition then the problem of "low on space" wont be a problem to you anymore .helps you free up some phone space by moving apps data to external storage

 

 

 

DiskDigger undelete 

Now this is another root application that is very interesting due to its ability to dig lost files and recover then back to your android!
Have you ever lost your photos or images in your internal storage by deleting them accidentally..?
 if yes then this will  be the right app for you to install on your rooted device

How to enable developer option on some android devices

  This is a straightfoward developer process for android users with the jellybean version of android so i would prefer getting to the point!
 If you are a developer most probably you know there exists a developer option on android smartphones .
Its however  disappointing when one comes to terms with the fact that this very developer option is not displayed on some devices like the samsung galaxy s4.
Well here is a quick and simple tutorial tha will circumvent you through unveiling your developer options!


1. Click onto your settings option on your phone
2. Scroll to the bottom where you will see the list option about phone

3. After clicking the about phone option scroll to the option labelled "Build number"

4. Tap on the build number "7 times" whereby after three taps you will see a toast notification encouraging you to continue as shown...

The message should be  "you are steps away from being a developer"
After your are done with the seven taps a toast notification should tell you "You are now a developer"









And there you have it you are now proudly a  developer!
