Many are the articles which have frequented my posts that
touch on this very popular application WHATSAPP! With over 600 million users its only safe to
ask… who doesn’t use Whatsapp in this begotten century!?( unless you lived in
the days of Hitler …then Whatsapp
shouldn’t be a redflag to your eyes ) Which brings the relevance of these posts to
an acute validation. Yes Whatsapp is here to stay and not even Facebook is of the divergent opinion! I mean Facebook
has been “wasting people’s lives” since
2004 but its influence can never override that of Whatsapp let alone overshadow
it!
Change is proving inevitable and this can only be unraveled
by the fact that technology is a necessity
whose relevance emanates from diversity.
It is for the same reason technology will always be in pursuit for a
fleeing upgrade in a bid to make life a walk in the park.
Whatsapp has been rolling out updates to users so fervently
, it even gets to a point they get to
call the shots by telling you to shape in or
shape out if by any chance you are hesitant to upgrade to the latest version(victims
are mostly guys with miniaturized internal memory which Whatsapp gluttons with total disregard to other
applications) how unfair right?(you cant remain archaic though) Well looks like using Whatsapp will only be
reserved to those with the luxury of space! If you are still using the smartphones that ushered in the reign of Android with android
versions like cupcake 1.5, donut 1.6 ,éclair 2.0, froyo 2.2.3 or even gingerbread 2.3.7 then I am in earnest empathy with your
situation to cope with the incessant Whatsapp updates. Come on don't remain the Neanderthal man, evolve to the sumptuous side of life and taste the variants of candy android has to offer!
Whatsapp too are hyperactive to join android in its
unremitting zeal to introduce newer versions that propel Android to a whole new
echelon. Android released the latest version of android which I would refer to as a

The most notable craft that has proved its eminence in the lollipop unveilings is
the Material Design which is the tangible resource that brings about the contrast with regard to the earlier
versions of android. This material
design comes afloat in a deliberate attempt to bring out a more scintillating
user interface! Whatsapp has also been revolutionized and they have “cut their
clothe” in conformity to the material design so to speak since this material is
a parchment that cannot be wished away!
That having been said it Is now clear why some Whatsapp I
user interfaces (UI) are different from others as of now. These might be some of the reasons why you
could still be living in Stone Age or you are one lucky homo sapien species that has evolved real pronto so let me call
you “generation next” . ( reasons why your Whatsapp might be having material
design or maybe not! )
- You are probably using an earlier version of android, let’s say from jellybean and earlier
versions. Lollipop automatically gives
applications a material design by default , and that's the beauty of the upgrade.
- Your Whatsapp has not been updated to the latest version (version 2.12.87) You don’t have the Whatsapp with the material design which is not yet available on Google Playstore but could be on whatsapp official site
