ANDROID 5.0 LOLLIPOP IS HERE

Lollipops are synonymous with toddlers and even so many of the damsels  you associate with! lollipop is the sweet, the song, mouth watering piece of snack and now its ANDROID !

Speculations have been flying in the air about the  nomenclature to be used in the binomial of the next Android version. There were a galore of guesses including LIME  LEMON MERINGUE PIE AND EVEN LEMON DROP! .Its quite crushing that whoever was the author of these guesses was served to a rude shock that none of their guess was right! Well dont throw your brain away it might yield more precise hypothesis and for sure we will celebrate you!

The blatant truth is that the new android update is named  Android lollipop which has the version 5.0
You probably wonder why you are even being told about a name that actually  lingers in your braincells since you were in kindergarten ..lollipop ! well you it only comes down to one thing ..New features that will be mind blogging will be interfaced and integrated to your  Smartphone ,but i pray the smartphone better not be smarter than you , something you should also fathom !

 

Features of Android 5.0 L

•  A whole new level of notification system that will allow for multitasking and make  your user experience quite at your convenience.  Notifications will be displayed on your lockscreen and given priority depending on the frequency you use them you will also be able to respond to the notifications without leaving the app you were using or the leaving the interface you were on consequently allowing you to get back to what you were  doing! yeah having your cake and eating it ! multitasking!
•  Another feature that works with the android smart watch is that feature that allows you to keep your phone unlocked or better still if you don't have a smart watch   you can automatically set your watch to automatically unlock when you are home or when it hears your voice !
• Material design which is  a flat design that makes use of extensive shadows and 3D views to make on-screen elements distinct from each other!  New animations including  touch feedback and transition animations  between apps

• Security being a prioritized issue its improvements will also be felt on android L which will allow encryption of user data  The encryption will be turned on by default on the device to protect you from invader and notorious hackers .Now thats quite something if your multimedia will be kept private 

 It gets even better when you are on the Android platform...!

RETAIN YOUR WARRANTY EVEN AFTER ROOTING YOUR PHONE

If.. by the grace of my indefatigable effort to inform you on how to root your phone...you have read about  an article i have written on  How to root your phone, then you probably have been met with the disclaimers and red flags that are usually therein, a deliberate effort to make you aware of the road you are about to take regardless of its obvious and usually severe implications. As trivial as these effects may seem they might cost one, the camouflage that comes with a fancy name "warranty". This very word instills in one, the required trust to purchase (a handset in this case..and it better be android) simply because any discrepancies will be accounted for by the supplier ( this  applies to software and workability not physical damage) .So don't go running to your vendor with the warranty if the devil tricks you that your broken screen will be replaced with another unblemished one! You will be served to the blatant truth and you'll even doubt the fact that you are the sperm that won!
But hey ..who doesn't like adventure or the chance to actually prove that the ceremonious warranty has come to actualization so you need a run for your money! literally speaking
   

We have learnt that rooting voids the warranty that comes with purchase of your phone and thus making you a worried man once the phone starts experiencing some lag! indeed you'll call yourself a developer after rooting your phone but you will be on your own when matters warranty are of the essence.For me rooting is inevitable and i wouldn't trade it for the rather unanticipated utilization of my warranty!

This is the same reason there  is way to root your device without voiding your  warranty!sound like robbing a bank without getting caught huh? or rather tasting the forbidden fruit out of wedlock and remaining a virgin!

ROOT YOUR ANDROID AND KEEP YOUR WARRANTY WITH YOU

 Software Required

• Vroot  Which is a PC software

• Device drivers. These drivers need to be installed in your pc  

  Process:

NB; IF you are using  Samsung phone with knox enabled , Go to settings and disable the Lock reactivation
1. install the Vroot
2.enable your usb debugging .if you cant find this option on your device click on the link How to enable developer option on your android
3.connect your device to your PC
4.Vroot will scan your device on their database and if found  the root button will appear
5. click the root button and in a few seconds your device will be rooted and will restart

install a ROOT CHECKER APP  from Google play store and check if your device is indeed rooted!
Thats how you get root access!

ENABLING SuperSU

Using  Vroot by default there's a program that takes care of superuser privileges but one  would prefer to change that and use the rather hyped superSU
FOLLOW THE STEPS Below.
1. Install SuperSu from the play store
2 . on launching the the app accept the permissions and grant root access. The superSU will request for a binary download confirm and download
3. install  Titanium Backup from the Play store  or SD maid and freeze the superuser that was installed by vroot
4. reopen the SuperSU  and reinstall the SU binary

Having that done procedurally as stipulated in this article then you are good to go.You will have have rooted your device without modifying the kernel which gives you the leeway to claim your warranty and its purpose upheld!



That done you will be as good as a hacker who has completed their first step to "hackerMode" on android!

Why buy a modem if u you have your have your android!

Technology is here to stay and the faster you catch up with it and embrace it the more easier life will be for you! Technology is quite a flexible field whose dynamic nature always gives technologists a run for their money while at the same time keeping all and sundry at bay ready to discover the complexities that are therein. this is the point i get to say that third parties like me come in  handy to demystify the rather convoluted  structure of technology!
Its a "smart" generation ...ranging from smartphones to smart TVs ...screens are becoming the artificial oxygen...a thing you cant do without! its either your phone, your TV, or your laptop!(you can add your windscreen too if you felt left out)owning all these gadgets will make you have some sense of belonging and this is the point you will feel like your technological quest has been met. Well...the struggle might as well be far from over since you will have to buy other supporting  devices that would otherwise  be branded accessories .
In this case we will focus on two gadgets ..an ANDROID  phone  and a MODEM.
a MODEM is exclusively designed to provide  internet connection to your  PC and that's that!(maybe you can use the recent modems as micro SD readers too). Your android device on the other hand is a a user device with a buffet of applications that might be overwhelming considering the vast grounds in terms of uses it traverses.!(please tell me my phone can do my laundry!)

USING YOUR PHONE AS A MODEM!

First you should consider navigating  your settings and enabling the usb debugging mode. In some phones like Samsung galaxy s4 this option is usually not shown unless  a developer already got geeky with your phone. Do not despair if this option does not show just click onto this link>>>>How to enable developer option on your android phone to help you add the developer option tagged usb debugging.

Hoping you have successfully turned on the usb debugging you can now go to you settings...click on  more then Click onto TETHERING AND PORTABLE HOTSPOT .

  You can now check the USB tethering if unchecked and bingo! your computer can now share your phones internet! check on your computers status bar for the network status and if you see something like in the image below then start enjoying your surfing.

Now that was fast and easy ..don't start feeling like a hacker already.. you just substituted your modem with your phone or better still..you found it unnecessary to  buy a modem

 SHARING YOUR INTERNET  WIRELESSLY USING YOUR ANDROID PHONE'S  HOTSPOT

 This is the second option just in case you are one of those folks who find a wireless network the most amazing and scintillating invention of all time! No one doesn't know what WIFI is this days and the first thing one will check once they enter an area with all sorts of technological alerts is check if there is an open network . The lust is usually brought to an abrupt heartbreak once you find the WiFi network locked! well its not the end of the world you know  .... you can create your own WiFi network with your phone and have people on  your neck literally beseeching for your password.. makes you  feel like a CEO  of some internet providing company huh??!

This is how you create a WiFi network on your android phone....
First make sure your data connection is turned  ON just so you are able to share your mobile network wirelessly
Go to your settings and click on tethering and portable hotspots on your wireless and networks option. Turn on the WiFi  hotspot ... this should automatically be reflected on your notification bar with a message "tethering or hotspot active"...

This created network network allows for the modification of the SSID (service set identifier) and the password allowing you to have absolute control of your network in terms of confidentiality an authenticity! You can even monitor the number of connections from your device and cut of any unscrupulous connections.
Thats how you simply create a simple router that will get tongues wagging in pursuit for a password whilst you sit back and enjoy your private connection  like a boss!

And just so you know u wont even need to buy a modem after all thanks to Android!
