With the eminence that comes with the presence of whatsapp in every Tom Dick and Harry’s phone,  it’s very obvious that this very application is the instant messaging blockbuster. It is that crème de la crème application that propagates multimedia faster than a bushfire and takes you to cloud9 pronto!

Now whatsapp is one exquisitely crafted application that lets you interact with the persons of interest in ways you and your acquaintances find scintillating. Talk of tetxs, videos, images(memes) and a gazillion emojis!

Initially, only voice messages and texts could be shared across mobile networks. With the continued overhaul in technological advancements and improved networks like 3G and LTE,  sharing multimedia has become as seamless as pouring a smoothie down your throat.

Nonetheless there have been certain constraints with WhatsApp given its widespread usage as a reliable multimedia sharing platform across and beyond borders

We appreciated  the fact that whatsapp  beat the odds by making infinite the proximity required to share media thereby making Bluetooth quite a toothless dog which is slowly becoming obsolete. 

Sharing files on whatsapp has been a long time coming and this has kept the emails alive and kicking. Maybe the founders of WhatsApp who happen to be former Yahoo employees did not want to give whatsapp a premature death by introducing file sharing from day one!

 And finally,  file sharing on whatsapp which was only a mirage, has been demystified with the new whatsapp Revamp!

This is quite a crucial update which will revolutionize file sharing on the go and through a popular conduit that every breathing soul might be using...WhatsApp! 

Emails will still remain relevant but it is safe to presume emailing is on a life support machine and is on its way top plunging  into a deep coma. The platform will only be fit to be referred to as a ghost worker whose attention is fully paid to those push messages broadcasted by the many websites we log into using our emails!

AirKlip - STUDENT PLANNER- APP REVIEW

As fate would have it,  education is actually inevitable be it formal or informal. Education has received accolades by successfully depriving some of their sleep as they strive to outdo Albert Einsten in their rocket science endeavours. For some, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg are their demigods and they can't wait to drop out of school to become the next billionaires just so they can wallow in the same affluence that comes with being a dropout. What foolery! Just make sure you advise the latter chaps that they better be brainiac maniacs who can save the world before they can ultimately embrace truancy!  Then karma might not smack them on their face for excelling in foolhardy deliberations!
Apparently, education might not be the key to success  because the door to success is always open.
You don't have to traverse to the topmost echelons of the formal education hierarchy to become a bourgeoisie, neither do you have to be a beneficiary of the Kenya's NYS loot!
Point is, you'll need to be ushered into education at some point to open you up to a world that is opportunity redundant. 

That said, and hoping you are not dropping out of school just yet, am guessing it will be safe to call you a student who happens to have a particular schedule influenced mainly by a Timetable that is crafted by the learning institution you are subscribed to. Now for those nerds who are accustomed to using Android as their preferred operating system, it is probably axiomatic that the new hybrid design being used by google is Material Design.

Material design is a holistic guide that paves the crafty intricacies that facilitate visual, motion and interaction design across platforms and devices. Consequently there couldn’t be a better hub to harbor and showcase this very design that has brought a complete overhaul to the android apps in terms of the user interaction and its development.

Android Lollipop 5.0 set the ground for an uplift to material design which elevated the Application Programming Interface (API) to a whole new level (API level 21). This would then blossom to;

•   A new theme
•   New widgets for complex views
•   New APIs for custom animations and shadows

This same renovation has compelled developers to make a drastic switch from the IDE (Integrated Development Environment)  they are accustomed to (eclipse in my case) to  the newly unveiled Android Studio whose IDE and SDK ( System Development Kit) fully supports and facilitates a seamless integration of material design in android apps.  Android studio is powered by intellij platform and java developers will find it quite handy if not dexterous a tool in android development.

With all these resources at my disposal I found it convenient to create an app that will consolidate the articles I write in a single (android) app thereby giving you the reader a comprehensive and in-house experience while enabling you to read the pieces I write at your own peril.  The app (DoubleONews) also houses options for you to visit your favorite social media site including;

INSTAGRAM 7.5 A REVAMP WITH NEW FEATURES (Better instagram experience. )

Instagram is the application that is considered the creme de la creme software when it comes to charlatans indulging in a facade-embroiled spree of showing the whole planet how they are breathing first class Oxygen only leaving you to wonder if you actually inhale Nitrogen!

So ubiquitous is Instagram... You don't have to be CIA to keep up with the "Kingstargrammers" leave alone  Kardashian (s)... who profiles the highest shares quantified by the legion of followers she has(Most followed celebrity actually... with a whooping 45 million followers) ... quite prolific. By all means she's the Instagram blockbuster! You still have a long mile to tread if you want to trend like her. But as you continue soliciting more followers than Jesus had... Instagram continues to unveil better features to you for a seamless Instagram experience...

Direct messages

Now sending a direct message will not be as laborious as before when one had to start a new conversation altogether if you needed to send a picture or a video. Thanks to the renovation in version 7.5  which introduces threaded messaging that allows users to send content from their pictures feeds as a direct message using the right curved arrow.

Named groups

In a bid to counter the rather unremitting number of @-mentions used to tag other users as way of sharing a post,  instagram has introduced named groups that will serve the purpose of flagging posts to a group of interested parties explicitly. (That was a long time coming... whatsapp never saw this coming )

Maybe its time to obey the incessant update notifications on your phone as you quest to have a better beta version 7.5

ANDROID M IS GOING TO BE MELLOW AND THE M IS FOR MARSHMALLOW

Indications that Android 6.0 was on its way to grace android smartphones upgrade became a sure thing after the previews promulgated by Google as the overview  of what we should expect in Android M.

The" M" speculation was met with  a bazillion of possibilities with names like Macadamia, Muffin and Moon pie having the honors of being the nominees  to mention but a few. Some -like me- who are accustomed to the intoxicating sweetness that android offers in their candy-affiliated nomenclature, expected something like M For Molasses...  the swahili folks from coastal Kenya would give a toothy grin to the molars  to hear the M is for "Madafu".

Google has  saved you the anxiety in second guessing by validating that indeed the M will stand for Marshmallow. So taking over from Google lets have a shallow look at the latest previews by Google

Android 6.0 Marshmallow expectations

• The platform will have enhanced permissions behavior with an updated permissions user interface 
• The fingerprint Application programming  interface will be updated for optimum exploitation of the  fingerprint feature.
• Storage analysis will be more advanced in the settings preview interface with the introduction of an elaborate analysis paradigm that demystifies how space has been used by what resource and in what amount.

• Network reset option will  be included in the backup and restore selection meaning that one will be able reset the WiFi, Bluetooth and cellular data connections

• Removal of status bar icons which might be filling up your statusbar and thus soliciting a plus sign that shows you have more notifications. This is possible via the System UI tuner which requires to be enabled in the developer options
